Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program Honoree
Earlier this summer, Mental Health Advocacy Services was honored by the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program - Champions Live Here as one of 56 “unsung hero” nonprofits who are making a transformative impact in underserved communities across Los Angeles.
The legacy program honors each of the 56 “Champion organizations” with a $10,000 grant award, a professionally produced marketing video spotlighting their organization, and public recognition of their work in the lead up to the Super Bowl.
MHAS is incredibly humbled to share this honor alongside our fellow sister organizations that also are working every single day to make Los Angeles a better place for everyone.
ABOUT THE SUPER BOWL LVI LEGACY PROGRAM - CHAMPIONS LIVE HERE
In partnership with the LA84 Foundation, the Play Equity Fund and the National Football League (NFL) Foundation, the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program – Champions Live Here shines a spotlight on the achievements of local community organizations who often go unrecognized and provides grants to help these nonprofits continue fulfilling their missions.
The committee selected 56 organizations that focus on creating real change and reaching the many neighborhoods in need across the region. These qualified organizations are inclusive, collaborative, resourceful, innovative and focused on driving impact in the areas of youth development, jobs and economic opportunity, and social justice.
